Creating a stairwell opening. Reinforcement with a reinforced concrete structure in Mouans-Sartoux

06370 Mouans-Sartoux

Our team at OMPT, in partnership with INGENICE, recently had the opportunity to put its expertise to work creating a stairwell opening in an existing property in Mouans-Sartoux, which required reinforced concrete strengthening to guarantee stability and safety.

Reinforced concrete, a cornerstone of many building projects, offers an ideal combination of strength and durability. In our Mouans-Sartoux project, the stairwell opening was meant to improve circulation inside the house while making sure the existing structure stays robust.

First, the INGENICE engineers carried out a careful assessment of the existing structure to determine the specific needs for strengthening and for creating the stairwell opening.

Our skilled team, backed by INGENICE's technical expertise, then cut part of the floor and added the reinforced concrete strengthening, providing the necessary structural strength while meeting the strictest safety standards.

Finally, the project was completed without major disruption, and the new stairwell opening was successfully integrated into the existing house.
