Our company OUVERTURE MURS PORTEURS TREMIES supports you in reorganising your living space. We recently carried out work for one of our clients who lives in a co-owned building in Asnières Sur Seine. The client wanted an opening between the double living room and the entrance.
First we began the works by putting protection in place : a special self-adhesive site sheet. Then we installed 2 rows of vertical props to temporarily support the ceiling and walls, using props and timber planks. The work stages were specified by the BET, whose instructions we followed precisely.
The load-bearing red-brick wall was demolished with the electric wall chaser and a special machine. Then we installed the HEA140 column, which was set up to support the IPE300 beam afterwards. The columns were welded onto base plates, fixed to the floor with coach screws and to the wall with chemical anchors. The beam was placed and welded at each end onto the HEA columns, then packing with non-shrink mortar was done above the beam. The whole steel structure was coated with anti-rust paint.
