Creating an opening in a load-bearing wall in Cannes. Reinforcement with a steel structure and reinforced concrete columns

Our building company, which specialises in load-bearing wall demolition, recently had the opportunity to carry out another renovation project in Cannes. The client, wanting to rethink their interior space, asked us to open a load-bearing wall and install a reinforcing structure.

True to our professional methods, we used state-of-the-art tools, such as an electric wall chaser and a circular saw fitted with diamond blades, to demolish the load-bearing masonry wall.

Once the reinforced concrete columns were built, we installed the steel elements, including a double HEB400 beam assembled with threaded rods passing right through.

To ensure the long life of the steel structure, we applied anti-rust paint to the whole metal frame. This preventive measure is an effective protection against oxidation and the deterioration of ferrous metals over time.
