Our team at OMPT recently had the opportunity to put its know-how to work enlarging a stairwell opening in a house in Vallauris, which required steel structural reinforcement to ensure stability and safety.
As a precaution, we carry out a careful assessment of how the existing structures are built and of the strength of the floor before any demolition.
In the next step, our qualified team puts vertical propping in place to support the floor, partially cuts the floor and reinforces it with a steel structure. This guarantees the required structural strength while meeting the most stringent safety standards.
In addition, we incorporated a composite floor to adapt the size of the opening to the future staircase.
Anti-rust paint was chosen to protect the metal surface.
Before handing the premises back to the owner, a meticulous clean-up was carried out to ensure a spotless environment.
