As part of a bakery renovation project, the OMPT GROUPE team was called in for a specific job: strengthening the floor following the demolition of a partition.
The work was carried out in line with the recommendations and specifications of a structural engineer.
We began by putting protective measures in place to keep the workers safe and preserve the integrity of the surrounding areas.
Our team then propped the structure to maintain stability during the demolition and strengthening work.
The partition was demolished with precision, giving access to the area concerned and allowing the reinforcement elements to be prepared.
To reinforce the structure, a reinforced concrete column was installed on one side and an RC padstone was built on the other. An HEA260 steel beam was carefully positioned on top to provide adequate support and an efficient distribution of loads.
Once the strengthening work was finished, our team carried out the necessary finishing to achieve an optimal look and function. A thorough quality check was carried out to make sure all standards and requirements had been met.
