OMPT GROUPE, a company specialising in steel structure reinforcement and reinforced concrete, has just completed a technical, made-to-measure project in Mandelieu-la-Napoule. The project involved the complete reconstruction of an existing staircase using a steel frame designed specifically to suit the constraints of the building.
As with every one of our projects, we worked closely with a structural engineering office. The engineer's drawings were followed precisely to ensure a reliable, safe result that complies with current standards.
The chosen solution was a steel structure made of IPE 100 and IPE 120 sections, carefully welded together. The connections to the existing load-bearing walls were made either with steel base plates or by sealing into the masonry, all resting on a reinforced concrete padstone. The perpendicular members were joined with welded angle brackets, ensuring optimal rigidity and stability.
This project perfectly illustrates our expertise in steel structure reinforcement and our ability to take on complex projects, whether in Cannes, Mandelieu-la-Napoule or throughout the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Our goal remains the same: to offer suitable technical solutions, extend the life of structures and guarantee our clients' safety.
