OMPT GROUPE was entrusted with building a made-to-measure steel structure to hold outdoor air-conditioning units on the roof, on the concrete slab of a garage.
The structure, specified by an engineer, is an assembly of HEA 120 and UPN 240 steel sections, sized to carry the combined loads of the technical equipment. Each air-conditioning unit weighs about 90 kg, so the layout was designed to ensure an even, controlled load.
The beams are fixed to the facade by a system of reinforced steel brackets, made of bearing plates and welded angle brackets, chemically anchored into the load-bearing wall with threaded rods.
The components were prefabricated and treated against corrosion, then assembled precisely on site, in line with the execution drawings supplied.
