Opening load-bearing walls, reinforcement layout drawings and building a steel-structure mezzanine

75009 Paris

Project carried out in 75009 Paris in the load-bearing walls category

A column is needed at the intersection of grid lines B and C, to be confirmed before the works depending on the nature and position of the structures on the lower floors. Information to be passed by the project management team to the engineering office for validation of the reinforcement principle before the works.

Update following the visit of 20/06/2018: the column is necessary to spread the loads properly onto the existing structures without risk of damage.

If any element contradicting the reinforcement principles presented in this study were discovered during the works, the contractor and the project management team would notify the engineering office so that the study can be adapted.

A visit to the lower levels directly below the openings must be arranged before the works to validate the principles.
